Interactive Hospitality Demo
Hotel inspired proof of concept
The Brief
Design a digital sign that could be used in a hotel lobby. Users would be able to interact with the sign via touch and included a video feed (showing news, sports or a live feed); live time, date, and weather forecast for the area; animating custom messaging (or a social media feed); swipe carousel that showed the hotel amenities.
My Role
- UI design and graphics creation
- Code and integrate the swipe carousel using javascript and HTML
- Create and implement the project file using BrightSign proprietary software
- QA the presentation
Results
This became one of the demos used to highlight the hospitality vertical. In addition to be shown at trade shows, it became part of the sales department demo kit.
An updated version created in landscape. This version also included a map that would allow tourists to see points of interest close by the hotel.
