App Interactive Video Wall
3×2 video wall with 4 different visualizations that could be switched to via an app. Visualizations include menu board, eye-candy footage from a partner content company, a branding piece, and a retail piece that was able to switch colors of nail polish and lipstick.
The Brief
Marry the 4 different scenes together into a seamless interactive video wall
My Role
- Design and create the menu board visualization
- Design and create content for the branding piece
- Take partner content and cut into indivual videos that accommodate bezel compensation
- Create code (HTML, javascript) that communicated between the 6 players and the app to incorporate the color picker (to change the color of the lipstick and nail polish)
- Implemented in BrightSign’s proprietary software
- Tested to ensure all content was synchronized
Results
The demo was showcased at trade shows as the main video wall in the booth (meant to attract attention from the aisle.) This was one of the most challenging projects I created.
